About us

Anthony is a Chartered Health & Safety practitioner and Fire Engineer with over 15 years’ experience of working within the fire and construction industry. He has worked on many construction projects with both central and local government organisations and worked with local enforcing bodies. He also has a wide range of experience in working with many other local authority service provisions, such as schools, care homes, leisure centres, libraries, and community centres, as well as private industry enterprises such as sporting venues, golf clubs, rugby union clubs, and football clubs.

Anthony has worked closely with those individuals and companies applying to health and safety registered bodies, for example SSIP, CHAS, Construction Line, and Safe Contractor Scheme, to ensure a successful application with the intention of aiding companies bid for public sector tenders.

Due to his wide and varied skills, experience, knowledge and training, he will act as your Competent Safety Advisor in line with Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Anthony has particular experience of working within construction industry covering the Construction, Design Management Regulations 2015 and its associated duty holders, offering advice and guidance (construction site health & safety inspections) including fire safety on construction sites including timber frame fire risk assessments.

Whilst also encompassing fire safety as an additional area of expertise, he will act as your fire safety consultant on many differing aspects covering fire safety and dealing with enforcing bodies on your behalf, delivering fire strategies, fire risk assessments, and fire safety training.

Ian is a Fire Engineer with over 37 years’ experience both Business Fire Safety and Operational Firefighting, where he rose to the rank of Station Officer/Commander. Progressing onto the role of Business Fire Safety Specialist Inspecting Officer, Ian has worked alongside Health and Safety officers, Managers and Heads of Department, for a wide variety of premises from large department stores to secondary schools, factories and care homes.

Primarily he trained for his role as an Inspector, succesfully completing his Fire Safety training at the Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh. He also worked closely on a successful prosecution case where precedent law was implied with one of the countries leading Fire safety barristers. Ian’s specialist knowledge and experience of Fire fighting and Business Fire Safety, will allow him to act as Fire Safety Consultant on differing areas of specialist Fire Safety, inclusive of fire strategies, fire audits, risk assessment and training.
