A Fire Risk Assessment is a structured and comprehensive assessment of the fire risk in buildings and other public areas, the purpose of which is to determine the current level of fire risk and the adequacy of existing fire precautions. This is required from not only a legal perspective (obligations detailed under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005), but also from a moral and business protection point of view.

At Black Dragon Safety, we carry out all fire risk assessments following the format and structure of the PAS79 specification. As part of our service, we also offer full support for 90 days following the assessment, including any liaison with fire officers or insurers.

Following the risk assessment, we will present our findings in a Fire Risk Assessment report, along with an Emergency Action Plan, Standard Operating Procedure and Significant Findings; if acted upon, will ensure that the responsible person(s) meet all legal obligations and work towards best practice.
